EXTREME MAKEOVER: BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS EDITION
Area Volunteers Donate Time, Money and Materials
to Give Atlanta Club a Facelift

WHO:
Atlanta
Taco Bell Foundation, Taco Bell Foundation for Teens,
and Woolfolk Branch Boys & Girls Clubs teens
WHAT:
On Thursday, June 26, The Atlanta Taco Bell Foundation,
in partnership with the Taco Bell Foundation for
Teens will undertake an ambitious one-day clubhouse
and facilities renovation project at the Woolfolk
Boys & Girls Clubs Branch. More than 300 volunteers
including Taco Bell owners, managers and employees;
Boys & Girls Clubs teens; and local fraternity
and sorority members are expected to take part in
the one-day extreme makeover.
Throughout the day, volunteers
will makeover the following club areas:
• Revitalization of the playground area
• Renewal of concrete play area and wall
mural painting
• Repairs to outdoor gates, benches and
tables
• Installation of replacement ceiling tile
and a reorganization of Arts & Crafts/Learning
Closets
• Rejuvenation of the Falcon Teen Room
• Updates to the club’s weight room
The Atlanta Taco Bell Foundation
will also be awarding the Atlanta-area Boys &
Girls Clubs with a grant in the amount of $106,545
to continue funding teen programming.
WHY:
The Taco Bell Foundation for Teens has donated more
than $20 million to support teen programs at Boys
& Girls Clubs of America since 1995, with the
help of ongoing customer, franchisee and employee
donations. The Taco Bell Foundation for Teens funds
national initiatives that inspire teens to graduate
from high school through programs promoting career
experiences, community service, and college exploration
Since
2003, Atlanta area Taco Bell restaurants and customers
have donated more than $600,000 to support local
Boys & Girls Clubs teen programs.
